WHAT HAPPENED?
Striker Russo finished off a lovely move to open the scoring in the fifth minute. Georgia Stanway played a one-two with Keira Walsh before driving and passing to Beth Mead. The Arsenal forward then picked out her club teammate Russo, who neatly rounded Ireland's 'keeper to score.

The goal received plenty of attention on social media, with one fan even urging England men's manager Gareth Southgate to take note.
